Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) and Counter IED (C-IED)

EOD and IEDD are an important skill set and capability within the framework of any national security response; indeed, in today’s conflict and security environment the reliance on EOD and IEDD assets is ever increasing.  A national EOD/IEDD capability cannot be built over night and procedures, doctrine and training must compliment national strategy to develop an integrated response

Improvised Explosive Device Disposal/Defeat (IEDD) is a broad discipline with many layers of application (practitioner, management and strategy), variances of skill sets, threat environments, training levels and experience; this is a product of the IED threat posed in today’s post-modern conflict environments combined with the personnel who are required to operate within that environment.

Whilst Crosstech can provide IEDD and C-IED personnel, training and consultancy in numerous disciplines, some of the common operations and services it provides are IEDD Training, Post Blast Forensics and Exploitation, Advanced IED Search, IEDD and C-IED Command and Control and Attack the Network Analysis and Operations. For more information – click here

Ammunition Safety, Storage and Transportation Management

Crosstech holds a wealth of experience in Physical Stockpile Safety Management (PSSM), Ammuniton Safety management (ASM) and Weapons and Ammunition Disposal (WAD) operations and training disciplines.  This experience and knowledge has been consolidated over a number of ammunition management operations, working to both national and international ammuniton technical guidelines (IATGs) for storage and management of ammunition.  More recently this has been witnessed in many countries such as Afghanistan, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Iraq, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Angola and Libya.  Senior management and programme managers across Crosstech also hold an in depth portfolio of ammunition training management and experience of expeditionary programme management for UN, governmental, NATO and national organisations. This experience has been harvested over many years in careers in both military service and NGO employment, and especially within Crosstech itself.
